We delivered a secure, dynamic, and privacy-centric solution for clinical assessments that reduces consultant workload and enhances the overall efficiency of healthcare professionals.

Adaptive Diagnostic Patient Questionnaire System: A flexible system that allows healthcare professionals to create patient questionnaires based on pre-defined workflows, dynamically adjusting questions based on patient responses. This also included a rule-based decision-support system to flag at-risk patients using a Red Amber Green (RAG) score that could be leveraged by AI models as early warning indicators of health risks and conditions. 



Benefits: Streamlines patient assessments, improving efficiency and empowering clinicians with more accurate diagnostic insights, reducing consultant workloads by pre-collecting patient data with oversight from healthcare professionals.

Privacy-Centric Architecture: Our goal was to implement a design that prioritised patient privacy by omitting the need to capture any personally identifiable information. The solution required minimal integration with existing electronic medical record systems and allowed patients to anonymously complete questionnaires whilst still allowing the team to identify patients for follow up consultation. This ensured compliance with strict data protection regulations, such as GDPR, while maintaining the integrity of the collected data. All data was encrypted-at-rest on a per-patient basis.

Administration Portal: A portal allowing clinicians to onboard patients, monitor progress, and manage questionnaire workflows efficiently. The administration portal provides an intuitive interface for clinicians to onboard patients, track assessment progress, and manage questionnaire workflows. Oasis Healthcare can onboard new customers into separate, fully customisable environments, ensuring language localisation and brand consistency.

Consultant and Patient Document Generation: Automated creation of three distinct documents—Consultant Summary, Patient Summary, and Full Response—to streamline the patient review process for consultants. The solution allowed for configurable review workflows of patient assessments by clinicians. Configurable workflows allowed for submission review to ensure accuracy and completeness of patient data, re-ranking of RAG patient prioritisation, and case notes prior to a consultant assessment. The system enabled external clinicians to take on case work to scale in respond to a practice’s incoming patient assessment demands.

API Integration: Seamless integration with external services for email, document storage, and analytics, ensuring scalability and security.

Built using Vue.js, Nuxt 3, and hosted on AWS and Vercel, the platform was optimised for performance, security, and ease of use, while adhering to the highest data privacy standards.
